How does Thermo+ differ from AluBubble?

Thermo+ combines reinforced aluminium with three bubble-film layers. AluBubble is a different family of metallised films. Similar appearance does not mean the same product: compare construction and documentation.

Will the mat replace existing insulation?

The complete assembly needs assessment. Mat thickness alone cannot establish an equivalent thickness of wool or EPS. Describe the structure and desired outcome; consult a designer if needed.
